    Description

When you buy the cables for the CS800, CS801 or CS800D you get two cables. The cable with the RJ45 jack is only used to reprogram the front panel firmware and this does not happen very often. The cable with the DB15 connector is used for both programming the parameters with your CPS as well has changing the firmware to add new features and correct problems. The CS800, CS801 and the CS800D radios do not come with programming cables, so if you want to program your radio it is suggested to order the cables at the same time you buy the radio.

Bought the CS800D for the remote head option as only a few DMR radios have this feature. So far I'm liking it. I was able to program my CSI setup utilizing the optional USB programing cable. All in all it was a good buy, and works great on DMR in my Ham Shack. Thanks K9OY Chicagoland, IL....

Everything works fine. Connect Systems is a first rate company and really stand behind their products. I would definitely recommend them and their radios / products to others. They really go the extra mile to be ethical.

Not much to say about programming cables. They are built well and do the job. The important thing is the low price. Thanks to CSI for not gouging its customers and providing these cables and other accessories for a very reasonable price.

    In all the ham gear I have purchased, this has been one of the easiest to get going. Cables do not need COM Port search with Win10. Worked instantly and perfectly. Radio was programmed within an hour of unboxing.

    Flawless operation with any of the computers I have used with my CS800D. No problems with software trying to find the right port, or any of the problems that you sometimes have. Well worth the cost, and great with the FREE software.

    The extra cable with serial connection to the back of the radio works perfectly. I was not successful with the cat 5 cable connecting it to the microphone input on the front panel.

    The package contains all of the program cables needed to program the radio, via the FREE software, and the cable to program and update the control head, with the FREE software and upgrades.
