This is a radio designed to do the M17 Protocol. For those not familiar with M17, it uses 4FSK modulation with an open source Protocol and Vocoder. This entire methology was designed by the HAM community. At the current time, this radio is shipping and the firmware is evolving.

Due to limitations of the the hardware, this radio will only do one protocol at a time. You can program the radio yourself for either protocol any time. The choice is M17 or DMR and Analog. There is not enough memory in the radio to do more protocols. See CS7000-M17 PLUS for more features.
